The University of Auckland is an international hub for XR HCI research. Professor Mark Billinghurst is world-renowned for his AR toolkit used by thousands internationally. Dr Lottridge is overseeing novel uses of AR and VR for physical and cognitive rehabilitation, including a codesign collaboration with the Māori-owned game company ARA Journeys.
